Our client is seeking experienced Travelling Construction Superintendent(s) to lead/support the on-site delivery of industrial and commercial construction projects throughout northeastern area of the United States including Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and New Jersey

About the Role

As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for on-site field management and daily construction operations. You’ll be expected to lead teams, oversee subcontractors, and deliver high-quality results on schedule, while upholding safety and quality standards.
Ideal candidates will have a background in food production, distribution, or warehouse facility construction, i.e Costco's, Walmart's, including experience on fast-track schedules, greenfield development projects (15–100 acres), and/or urban infill sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities.
  • Manage subcontractors and self-perform crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Oversee scheduling, construction methodology, and change management processes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with off-site project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, escalating commercial or technical issues when necessary.
  • Foster a positive, productive job site atmosphere and mentor junior field personnel.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2 - 20 years of relevant experience in a Superintendent role.
  • Direct experience with food processing, distribution, warehouse, or similarly complex construction projects.
  • Strong safety leadership and proven site-level accountability.
  • Ability to travel and manage remote project sites across North east of the U.S.
  • Excellent leadership, delegation, and field coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Skilled Trade Certification is considered an asset.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication abilities at all levels.
