Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and/or commercial clients. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to diagnose HVAC issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
• Test HVAC systems for proper functionality and efficiency
• Replace defective components, motors, compressors, thermostats, and controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
• Communicate repair recommendations and system updates to customers
• Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean working condition
• Respond to emergency service calls when needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Knowledge of smart thermostats and energy-efficient systems
• Brazing and refrigeration experience
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
