Senior Lead Structural Engineer

Seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and documentation of marine and port structures including bulkheads, piers, and pile-supported foundations. The role includes conducting field investigations, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and evaluate marine structures; manage projects from concept through construction.
• Oversee field inspections and construction-phase reviews.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary staff and coordinate with clients and agencies.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and respond to RFPs and SOIs.
• Review designs for quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (Structural/Geotechnical focus); P.E. license in NJ, NY, PA, or DE.
• 15+ years’ experience in structural engineering with emphasis on marine infrastructure.
• Proficient in structural design software and knowledgeable in material behavior (steel, concrete, timber, composites).
• Strong knowledge of permitting requirements and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
