Our client is seeking an an experienced Senior Geostructural Project Manager to join their NYC office. This role will support a variety of regional projects, with a focus on construction support services, excavation support systems, temporary shoring, and foundation design.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing projects, working directly with clients, and contributing both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical and structural analysis and design for a variety of projects
- Prepare complete design packages including calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Develop technical reports, letters, and project documentation
- Attend project meetings and communicate directly with clients
- Support proposal efforts and business development initiatives
- Conduct site visits to observe construction activities involving foundations, support of excavation, tiebacks, bracing, grouting, and other specialty geotechnical systems
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering preferred
- 12+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Active New York Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong background in geotechnical and structural engineering principles
- Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, RISA, or similar programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on active construction sites and perform field observations as needed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- Ability to travel occasionally for project assignments
