Senior Estimator - Commercial Glazing

About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Estimator with strong, established relationships across the Texas General Contractor market to join a leading commercial glazing and façade contractor. This role will be key in driving preconstruction success across the state, leading complex bids and supporting strategic growth in major metro areas.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven professional who knows the Texas construction landscape and can confidently develop pricing strategies, negotiate with vendors, and build trust with both clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, relationship-driven professional who knows the Texas construction landscape and can confidently develop pricing strategies, negotiate with vendors, and build trust with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full estimating process from takeoff to final bid submission.
- Develop accurate cost models for curtainwall, storefront, window wall, glass railing, and ACM systems.
- Manage bid schedules, vendor pricing, and value-engineering alternatives.
- Maintain and expand relationships with Texas-based General Contractors, developers, and architects.
- Partner with operations and project management teams to ensure seamless handoff post-award.
- Mentor junior estimators and help develop internal estimating processes and standards.
- 7+ years of commercial glazing estimating experience (curtainwall, storefront, or façade systems).
- Strong, active relationships with GCs across Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, OST/PlanSwift, and Excel; experience with QuickBid or Plexxis a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to win and deliver large-scale commercial bids ($1M-$20M+).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
- Bonus structure up to 50% of base salary.
- Total earning potential north of $200K.
