Senior Energy Engineer This role focuses on improving building performance through technical analysis, system evaluations, and energy‑efficiency strategies. You will assess existing buildings, identify opportunities to reduce energy use, and support projects that improve overall operations and long‑term sustainability. You will also help strengthen team capabilities by mentoring junior staff and sharing technical expertise.
Responsibilities - Conduct energy audits, building assessments, and system performance evaluations.
- Develop strategies to improve energy efficiency and support upgrade or retrofit planning.
- Review HVAC, mechanical, and building systems to recommend improvements.
- Analyze construction documents and suggest enhancements for performance and indoor air quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical development.
- Provide technical guidance and training to building professionals.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with HVAC or building systems in commercial or multifamily buildings.
- Experience inspecting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and energy‑efficiency practices.
- Ability to perform energy assessments, feasibility analyses, and system testing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation - $85,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience and skills.
