High Voltage Electrical Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled High Voltage Engineer to support renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage. This role involves designing and managing high-voltage equipment and working closely with engineering, construction, and utility teams.
Responsibilities include:

• Designing high-voltage systems (transformers, switchgear, protection systems)
• Supporting grid interconnection and compliance with utility requirements
• Managing equipment procurement and vendor coordination
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure project readiness and execution
• Assisting with permitting, site assessments, and technical reviews

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of high-voltage experience, ideally in renewables or utility projects
• Strong knowledge of transformer and substation design
• Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and engineering standards
• PE license preferred
• Willingness to travel for site visits and vendor meetings
