Role Summary We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to support multi-site plant operations, pilot testing, data analytics, and customer engagement across Florida. This is a hands-on operational role ideal for someone who is technically capable, field-oriented, and eager to take on responsibility.
The Field Engineer will oversee treatment system performance, manage pilot studies, and play a key role in analyzing field data and building business intelligence tools. This role also supports the development of SOPs, SOWs, and site-level KPIs to help standardize and scale operations.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and support daily operations of UIC well and pretreatment systems across multiple active sites.
- Conduct pilot testing, gather field data, and assist in performance analysis of treatment technologies.
- Build and maintain data analytics tools and performance dashboards to track operational trends and reporting.
- Analyze treatment metrics (flows, pressures, chemical usage, system response) to drive optimization.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), scopes of work (SOWs), and other operational documentation.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and accountability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for site operators, customers, and service vendors.
- Coordinate field activities including chemical deliveries, preventative maintenance, and SCADA oversight.
- Assist in preparing regulatory reporting packages and compliance documentation.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
- Fieldwork experience in water treatment, wastewater systems, or related infrastructure projects (internships, co-ops, or job-site exposure preferred).
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, pumps, valves, sensors, and basic process equipment.
- Strong skills in data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms).
- Ability to create and manage business intelligence tools to support operations and reporting.
- Comfortable developing SOPs/SOWs and working in environments focused on performance metrics.
- Professional presence and strong communication skills for customer-facing site leadership.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel throughout Florida.
- Interest in pursuing operational certifications or additional technical credentials is encouraged.
