Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer responsible for the design and layout of power, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and other specialty electrical systems. This role will support projects from initial design through construction while working closely with internal teams, clients, architects, and contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems using engineering principles, calculations, and industry standards
• Review designs for code compliance and assist with applicable State, Local, and Federal code requirements
• Select equipment and components based on project needs and manufacturer specifications
• Perform site visits, investigations, and field surveys as needed
• Prepare electrical specifications and construction documents
• Coordinate electrical designs with other engineering disciplines and architectural plans
• Attend project coordination meetings with clients and design teams
• Provide technical support during construction
• Assist with mentoring designers and reviewing drawings for accuracy
• Create and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• 0–3 years of related electrical engineering experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and drafting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
