Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in building systems to join a growing engineering team. This role will focus on the design and development of electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings, with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and other building projects
• Develop electrical plans, layouts, and construction documents
• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment selections
• Prepare specifications and assist with project documentation
• Review drawings and coordinate design details throughout the project
• Work with project teams to meet project schedules and budgets
• Assist with construction administration, including submittal and RFI reviews
• Participate in client meetings and project discussions

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in building systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Strong understanding of electrical building systems and applicable codes
• Experience designing power and lighting systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• PE license or EIT certification is a plus
