The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to support all phases of interior construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day project coordination, documentation, and subcontractor management
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project schedules
- Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate with field personnel and subcontractors
- Help manage materials procurement, deliveries, and inventory
- Work with the estimating team on take-offs and bid packages as needed
- Ensure compliance with project specs, drawings, and safety standards
- Support closeout process, including punch lists and documentation
- 2–5 years of construction experience, ideally with a carpentry subcontractor
- Strong knowledge of drywall, millwork, metal stud framing, and/or acoustical ceiling systems
- Ability to read construction drawings and specs
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
- Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
